Job Responsibilities:

In this role, the primary responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Accounting Operations Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processes.

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and monitor budgets, providing variance analysis and financial forecasts.

Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, government requirements, and accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).

  • Prepare computation and on time filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual taxes

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the accounting team, assigning tasks, providing training, and evaluating performance.

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making.

  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.

External Audit Coordination:

  • Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.

  • Analyze and assess the BIR audit and findings

  • Liaise with banks, auditors, vendors, and other external partners as needed.

Policy Development:

  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy.

  • Helps to supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff, fostering professional development and efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate financial information effectively to senior management, stakeholders, and other departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or related field

  • CPA license is an advantage

  • At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred

  • Solid knowledge of internal and external audit process

  • Strong knowledge of BIR audit findings compliance

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements and reporting

  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel

  • Netsuite Oracle knowledge is an advantage

  • Strong leadership and analytical skills

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized

  • Willing to work onsite, Makati
