Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing payroll for our employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining employee records, managing payroll-related inquiries, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Processing:

    • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including calculating wages, deductions, and bonuses.

    • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

  2. Data Management:

    • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.

    • Verify and process timekeeping data to ensure accurate pay calculations.

  3. Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.

    • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll legislation and best practices.

  4. Reporting:

    • Prepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and other required documentation to government agencies.

    • Generate and analyze payroll reports to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.

  5. Employee Support:

    • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related issues, including pay discrepancies, deductions, and benefits.

    • Provide support for payroll-related matters, including W-2s and other tax documents.

  6. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with the HR department to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes related to payroll.

    • Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and forecast payroll expenses.

  7. Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for improving payroll processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    • Assist in the implementation of payroll software or system upgrades.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, ,Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • Fresh graduate are welcome to apply

  • MS Office, especially Excel.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
